not according to plan...

So, the plan was to continue working on the mug coasters I started on yesterday, but I just don't feel like it...so I thought I'd start planning another little design...something NON Christmas, but I wanted to do a post first.

I did intend to post a plan for November as well, but I just haven't got myself organised enough for that...it is not easy when hubby is home on leave, I cannot only plan things for myself what to do during the day...it is more about taking each day for what it brings weather wise and what we feel like doing on that day - normally stay home potting about or watching a movie...we watched Scream 4 - LOVE IT!!! I just love all Scream movies...they are both fun and scary, but they do not tend to be overly gory...more blood than guts...I just cannot handle the Saw type movies as they seem to be more into pathology and gore...

So...I figured if I am gonna post I might as well post some cute pet pics...:) And perhaps some pics of gorgeous Orkney...

 I was trying to take a nap, and Tara always comes to join me, and this time Darwin saw the opportunity to get cozy under the blanket...


 You can see the wall of fog and rain halfway out the sea...we did have a PROPER rainstorm that day...



 Hubby determined to do fishing at Scapa pier...VERY windy, with waves lashing the pier, and very hard to cast out against the wind...



I just love clouds...they are such amazingly beautiful creations:)

    Jahg har inte sett nagra av Scream filmerna, men maken och jag tittar pa Dexter pa kvallarna nu. Det ar spannande, men jag hinner dock med lite broderi medans.

    Tackar :) Dom ar mysiga sa lange jag inte forsoker gora nagot o dom bara ar ivagen...lol...

    Jag har inte sett Dexter, men det ar nog for att jag inte vill fastna for for manga serier...just nu ar det Supernatural, Big Bang Theory, Warehouse 13 som jag precis har borjat titta pa, Law & Order CI och SVU och ANTM...men Scream filmerna ar sana att man sitter med nerverna pa spann hela tiden vilket jag gillar...men utan for mycket otrevliga detaljer...lite (ganska mycket om jag ska vara arlig) blod ar inte sa farligt...:) O sa lange min karl inte vill gosa sa broderar jag hemskt garna medan jag ser pa TV...:)

Refreshing my blog (long time coming)...

Hi, I haven't posted here for a very long time. Towards the end of the last period of blogging I completely lost track of my craftiness and there was just too much going on in life. Now I am finally feeling like myself again, I have started a web shop on Etsy and have started selling my jewellery from a shop in town. New Year, New Home, New Outlook!

Ok, so I have been very bad with writing on my blog...I am slightly ashamed... I do however have a reason for it...This last year went pear shaped, and I lost myself a bit. Firstly in March, my husband failed his final exam for the first time, causing a lot of stress and worry. Secondly, we lost our gorgeous baby girl Tara, our almost 12 year old GSD...she was in too much pain in her back and back legs, she was dragging her back feet as she had no strength to lift them to walk properly on her pads. This caused her to wear down her claws so much that she was bleeding on one occasion. After this occasion we made sure to walk her only on the side of the road so she could drag her feet on grass instead of asphalt. At the end of April 2014, we sent her across the Rainbow Bridge, to join her friend Darwin whom we lost in December 2012. Slimming World update!

I AM SOOOOOOO HAPPY!!! I lost 6 1/2 pounds, which means I have reached my 1st stone milestone:) I am so surprised but happy...I have gained 1/2pound three weeks in a row because my period was 3weeks late. Now my period has come and gone, and it just shows how much my body is affected by the f***king period...  (and those stars are hiding REA and nothing else...lol) So, tonight it is Nando's dinner...chicken, coleslaw and ratatouille (or perhaps some lovely chips) to celebrate weightloss as well as payday...I do normally let myself enjoy a nice treat of some sorts after my weigh in...that way it is easier to stay on track the rest of the time...:) I am getting on with my Siamese cats, and am about halfway through with the white, and once that is done I am finished and can make them into a cushion cover:)
