Some new makes and yet another relocation...

So...I made a promise to update my blog regularly, to get things done and focus myself... It has been a few months since the last post (not too bad considering the space between that one and the one before...), and as usual things have progressed in a way I was not expecting... Firstly, we lost Pearl, our 14 year old cat on the 4th June, 2 days after her birthday. She had not been herself from just before we moved from Inverness to Elgin at the end of February. I noticed her drinking a lot more and not eating much, not having much energy and stopping often to breathe before continuing walking, so I booked her in with the vet. The news were bad but inconclusive. The lungs did not sound right and the heart was working very hard. In a cat that age, it points to heart problems or the possibility of cancer. It was decided to bring her back for a scan and blood test, and the scan showed that her lungs were filled with fluid. This fluid was emptied, bloods taken and when I picked her up a...
