Got myself a job!

Yes, it is true:) I am starting my job on the 18th June. It is full time as an administrator/secretary. It is ongoing temporary through an agency which means the pay comes in weekly which is WONDERFUL:) It is however NOT the job I had an interview for...I went for the interview this afternoon for a 15hour/week receptionist job, the interview went ok. When I left I turned on the mobile only to find a text from hubby to say I have got a job confirmed through the agency I signed with. If I can choose between part time and full time I will choose full time any day. If I can choose reception or admin I will choose admin every time:) Life works in mysterious ways:)

First Job Interview

So, I have applied to a mountain of jobs, and I have now got my first interview. It is for a receptionist for the NHS. I am not sure if it is full time or part time, temporary or permanent...that is the problem with applying to many jobs at once. I will know as soon as the paperwork for the interview comes in the post:) I am aware I may not get the job, and if I don't it is because it is not meant for me. But, it does give me a boost knowing they have selected me for an interview, and hopefully there will be more interviews on the way. Yey to me :)

Summer is here...

Well, with summer comes warmth, and the pets are clever enough to stay in the shade most of the time, and I try to do the same. Unfortunately, I have to walk Tara which means being out in the sun...and therefore I now have blisters on both underarms just by the elbows...I always get this when I am in the sun...NO FUN!  I had to share some sunset pictures. Not necessarily in order, but still...and they are taken from our livingroom...it is lovely having such a view:)  I found the netting I needed for my felting, so I had a bit of fun today:) Done two pieces...all I have to do now is embroider and possibly bead them and they are done...my first felt pictures...not bad:) Check Pearl...How can she sleep folded up like that...I am always amazed at cats:)  Cuddle time:)  Tara exhausted after a walk in the sunshine...she cannot handle the sun very well at all...  And I had to share some pictures of gorgeous Invern...

Update time

This is what the crewel work project for my mum looks like so far. Worked on it a little bit today, but it was almost a week ago before today...been busy with other things. What do you think?   And the other pic is of the first bluetit I have seen here in Inverness...and the other pics are of the first Bullfinch I've seen here. He came with his wife, but she was hidden behind the doorpost unfortunately...

Picture Sunday

Below are pictures of Inverness and surroundings on a sunny day, as well as pictures from the classic car show in Inverness city yesterday.
